Results from NCW Payback

From thencwonline.net:

After nearly a year, the culmination of Rob Impact and Tim Kilgore’s war finally came to head with Last Man Standing. Rob Impact wasted no time in dominating over Kilgore, the first time getting his hands on him since January before Kilgore left for Louisiville, Kentucky. Both men did their best to wear each other down in order to win the 10 count. After taking it outside, Kilgore controlled things once they returned to the ring, although Impact’s WILL NOT DIE attitude kept coming through. After bringing a chair into the ring he missed a blind charge sending him sailing right into a big boot from Impact. Rob then took Kilgore and rammed his head into the chair that was wedged between the ropes. Impact then brought in ANOTHER chair after wailing on Tim, setting him up on the chairs, and slamming him with a vicious swanton off the top. As Kilgore barely tried to get up his head smashed into the chair, incapacitating him long enough for Referee Bo Douglas to count the 10, finally giving Rob that big victory.

The frustration for Rob Impact has been building for months. If it had ended after a seemingly accidental knee blaster from Tim Kilgore during their match at NCW Collision Course last August then life would have gone on, but soon it became clear to Rob Impact that it wasn’t any accident, and that Tim Kilgore was trying to end his career. After using his brother MTE to soften Impact up, Kilgore did everything in his power to end Rob’s career in a Stretcher Match, designed to put Rob on the shelf permanently. Rob refused to quit however which only added more fuel to the fire, which culminated when Kilgore screwed Impact out of the NCW Title Tournament at Silence the Violence VI.

With the frustration boiling over, Impact made one final challenge to Kilgore, challenging Kilgore to a sequel of his most famous match, the Last Man Standing Match. Unwilling to accept immediately, Kilgore packed his bags and left for WWE’s developmental league OVW leaving many wondering if the former NCW Champion would acknowledge his rival’s final stand. Since then Kilgore has made the call to accept the challenge, promising to finish the job he started back in August no matter what the cost.

When Doug Summers defeated Davey Loomis to become the new NCW Heavyweight Champion, he wasn’t looking towards a big celebration (although the Champ did get to celebrate with his younger brother and sister), he was looking towards his next opponent and challenger in an effort to silence the critics and establish himself as the greatest NCW Champion ever. On April 14th Summers gets the chance to prove himself one more time when he defends the NCW Title against his former trainer and teacher, the #1 Challenger “Revolution” Chris Venom.

The former two time NCW Heavyweight Champion knows a thing or two about proving critics wrong, defying everyone to become one of the most solid technicians in New England and winning not only the NCW Championship but also the NECW Heavyweight Title. As one of the head trainers of Slamtech University, Venom had a major role in the early stages of the Doug Summers Experience, and when the two step into the ring with one another at REUNION it will be without a doubt Summers’ toughest challenge since arriving in NCW at the 2005 REUNION two years ago.

The Original Kings Of Old School have kept a stranglehold on the NCW New England Championship since last August, with one man waiting patiently in the wings for his opportunity at the gold. TOKOOS has been dodging Evan “Hawkeye” Hunter since September when he won a battle royal to become the #1 Challenger after eliminating TOKOOS member “Textbook” Dean Porteau. After Destiny skipped town for Silence the Violence VI, and branding Porteau the Champion for that evening Hunter was screwed out of a fair chance again thanks to Porteau and Maniacal Mark. At REUNION Hunter will have his chance however, as he has secured a Hog Wrangling Showdown with the only way to beat your opponent is to hog tie that sumbitch down!

These two rivals will go at it once again for a chance to position themselves as top contenders for the NCW Heavyweight Championship, although Triplelicious has been noticeably upset at longtime manager JC Marxxx for costing him his Tournament Match against Doug Summers at StV VI. Can the Zero Tolerance alumni pull it together or will Davey Loomis have their number yet again?

NCW Silence the Violence VI results

From TheNCWOnline:

The intense rivalry between Rob Impact and Tim Kilgore went one step further in Warwick when they collided in their Quarterfinal Match. Kilgore once again used his dastardly ways to defeat Impact, using the ropes for leverage to gain the pin. The loss made Impact snap. Before Kilgore could even begin to celebrate his “victory” Impact snatched the microphone away from Ring Announcer Michael Pierce, and challenged Kilgore to one last match. A Last Man Standing Match between them at NCW’s 10 Year Reunion show! Impact stormed off, implying he wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Kilgore thought he’d be able to go right through Davey Loomis, but didn’t count on Rob Impact returning to ringside playing mindgames with the former NCW Champion. Loomis and Kilgore both gave their all, while Kilgore grew progressively paranoid with Rob at ringside. With Kilgore completely distracted, Loomis took the opportunity and cinched in his “bannana split” getting the pin on Kilgore.
