Car surprises

Despite the fact that I’m getting my second full day of work at Medusa in awhile, I’m still taking the time to post for all my loyal readers. No, I’m not back working full time. They just needed me to get all the promo material ready for a fair they’re leaving for next Thursday. I just wish they had given me more than a week’s time to prepare. These people still have no idea how long design stuff takes.

I might be getting a short term sub position working for the special ed. department at New Bedford High. Granted it’s not the optimal place I had in mind to start my teaching work, but I need to take whatever I can get. I’ve applied to a bunch of other schools as well and I’m hoping I’ll hear from one of them soon. If not I’ll have to take my job-hunting efforts elsewhere. I’m taking my teacher’s tests all day tomorrow and if I pass those it’ll give me a leg up on the competition. Wish me luck!

I accidentally found out earlier this week that my car has a 6-disc CD changer in it. It certainly didn’t look like it did and it wasn’t listed as a feature when I bought it. As far as I knew, those were usually kept in the trunk of the car. I found out when I had forgotten I had a CD in the player and put in another one. While it was playing, I remembered inserting the other CD the night before and noticed some new prompts on the player display. I finally sat down and read the car manual in case there was anything else I’ve missed. Nothing else special, but having the changer is an unexpected bonus.
