I love xmas. In addition to it being the best time of the year, it’s also the time I get to crank up my xmas playlist. My Top 5 xmas songs certainly aren’t traditional, but they are AWESOME.

Dead star shine
Light up the sky
I’m all out of breath
My walls are closing in
Days go by
Give me a sign
Come back to the end
The shepherd of the damned
I can feel you falling away
No longer the lost
No longer the same
And I can see you starting to break
I’ll keep you alive
If you show me the way
Forever – and ever
the scars will remain
I’m falling apart
Leave me here forever in the dark
Daylight dies
Blackout the sky
Does anyone care?
Is anybody there?
Take this life
Empty inside
I’m already dead
I’ll rise to fall again
I can feel you falling away
No longer the lost
No longer the same
And I can see you starting to break
I’ll keep you alive
If you show me the way
Forever – and ever
the scars will remain
I’m falling apart
Leave me here forever in the dark
God help me I’ve come undone
Out of the light of the sun
God help me I’ve come undone
Out of the light of the sun
I can feel you falling away
No longer the lost
No longer the same
And I can see you starting to break
I’ll keep you alive
If you show me the way
Forever – and ever
the scars will remain
Give me a sign
There’s something buried in the words
Give me a sign
Your tears are adding to the flood
Just give me a sign
there’s something buried in the words
Give me a sign
Your tears are adding to the flood
Just give me a sign
There’s something buried in the words
Give me a sign
Your tears are adding to the flood
Last Tuesday night I went to see the greatest band in the world, Our Lady Peace, perform at The Paradise in Boston. The show, as always, was fantastic. The show was sold out and had to be at the smallest venue I’d ever seen them in. I actually liked that better as it felt like a more personal experience.
I also discovered a new pet peeve…drunken idiots who want to record portions of the show on their iPhone. This drunk guy in front of me decided to take his shirt off and hold his iPhone in front of everyone’s face, even reaching his arm past two people in front of him obstructing their views. I don’t care if you want to film part of the show, but if you’re going to then take it seriously. Keep the recorder right in front of you where it’s not going to bother anyone and record more than 10 second clips.
Either way, amazing show. I posted the set list below as well as some HD videos from the concert itself from someone who actually knew what they were doing. I’m pretty sure this guy recorded and uploaded the whole show for those interested, but I only posted some highlights here.
